That's our very own Erik Vrielink manning the (letter)press at the Center for Book Arts on 27th Street. Erik's been taking letterpress classes and he very courageously agreed to design and print the Soulellis Studio holiday card, coming soon to a real-life inbox near you. Yes that's Soulellis Studio red that you see on press (Toyo ink #113). I looked around while Erik was busy mixing, fixing and rolling and tried to take in the beautiful, archaic boxes of lead type that fill this place.
